Comments by David Gottlieb
Super Dave Yatim and his partner in crime David Gottlieb are proudly displaying their work on the walls of Fair Bean.
Both David’s have a love for photography and have traveled the world photographing interesting people and places.
Their photos will be on display until July 1st.
Wild fires in Mexico were the cause of some amazing sunsets here in Austin. I took this photo of a beautiful orange sunset from a top a parking garage at UT.
I caught my daughter and niece holding hands while running down a road in Brunswick, Maine. Of all the photos I have taken, this is my personal favorite.
The kiss is my favorite Austin statue. It can be found a stones throw from Fair Bean at the Umlauf Sculpture Gardens
I got up before dawn to capture this early morning blue hue and the famous #1 lit up in the UT Tower. Go Horns!!!!
Who wants to go to Mexico? I woke up early one morning in Playa del Carmen to catch this rain cloud roll in off the ocean. This is another one of my personal favorites.
Ya gotta love the Texas Capital. It’s always this nice at sunset.
I was thrilled when I caught this beautiful wood duck swimming in the golden, light reflected waters of town lake.
This photo was taken on the East side at the Holly Power plant. I love the graffiti in the back ground.
For those of you who are wondering why I put a family photo of the kids up at the bean... It’s because I am hoping that you too want a great family photo and will call me! :)
I took this photo of a passion flower and used photoshop to remove the background. The result is stunning.

Super Dave Yatim’s Photos and comments.....
Super Dave Yatim poses for a photo in Big Bend.
The church of All Saints in Lund, Sweden. This shot is pure serendipity; I wanted to get a shot of the Moon standing behind the church, but opened up too long for it to come out clean. Instead, the Moon washed the clouds on the background with a very intriguing light.
The basilica of Sacre Coeur in Montmartre, Paris, France
The church of Our Lady of Tyn in the Old Town Square in Prague, Czech Republic
Our own State Capitol. I love the detail that came out from the dome, and how the flags anchor the opposite side of the frame.
Night shots from our own Sixth Street
Jackson Square, New Orleans. The brownish hue of the sky was completely unexpected!
The skyline of Austin as we will never see it again!
The State Capitol against the sunset. This picture was taken in December of 2004. The colors of our winter skies are usually very intense because of the dryness in the air.
